Fishing is a secondary skill for gathering fish and other catches from water. It does not use a primary-profession slot, and Cooking can turn many catches into food. For a simple routine, fish when you are near a water route or want to collect ingredients for your own recipes; it is not necessary to stop leveling and fish constantly.
Fishing camps in Forever
At skill 20, a Fish Bowl can be set beside a campfire and gives nearby players an 8% increase to stats according to its current Wowhead tooltip. At skill 140, the Fishing Rack adds temporary uncommon-fish access and fishing lures; at 300, the Fishing Hut supports rare fish. The Fishing Rack’s blueprint is listed as a drop from Gelihast in Blackfathom Deeps.
These features are more than decorations, but their shared cooldown and exact effects matter. Read the current item tooltip before trying to stack a camp bonus with another class or campsite effect.
Fishing and Cooking
Many fish are ingredients for food, and Forever adds or updates recipes and some Fishing-related boosts. Cooking is the usual partner if you want to turn catches into useful meals. The professions are also fine on separate characters if you do not want to spend two slots on a gathering-and-crafting loop.
